804 Members First

Strong Honest Leadership

804 Members First is a dedicated team of local 804 members with a long record of fighting to protect our membership. Whether we are fighting management, anti-union forces outside our local or corruption within it, we have always stepped up to do the right thing.

Mission Statment

Fighting on the shop floor, panel & bargaining table:

Honesty and Integrity - Fighting Corruption

When our leaders are corrupt the foundation of our Union is destroyed. We have a track record of fighting corruption and we pledge to fight against anyone who wants to use Local 804 for their own corrupt purposes. As leaders of Locaal 804 we have proven that we will take on anyone who thinks the Local 804 treasury is their personal piggy bank. When other leaders turned a blind eye to taking the Unions money we stepped up and had those people removed. Local 804 will never be strong if the membership doesn't trust the Union. We are the only team running for election with a history of fighting corruption and putting 804 MEMBERS FIRST.

All local 804 members deserve to be treated equally

Our first priority is to bring our Union together and that can only happen when the membership sees the Union fighting for their interests. That starts by being present on the shop floor and stopping problems before they go too far. The best way to stop management from violating our contract is for them to know our business agents and steward are right their watching and ready to act. As long term members who have served in every capacity of the Union we know that the best way to resolve a problem is to address it right away. When problems can't be resolved on the shop floor we will put all our efforts into seeking justice at the Local 804 and National Panels. We will also fight to improve our supplement at the bargaining table so that it will better protect our members who they are on the job.

Racism and sexism have always been used to try and weaken and divide the workers. We believe all members should be treated the same with respect and decency. No local 804 members should have to face racism and sexual harassment on the job. We have always fought against any form of discrimination sexual harassment or unfair treatment. That applies to supervisors on the job and leaders within our own Union.

If you want a strong honest leadership that will fight corruption and treat every member with the respect they deserve please consider supporting the 804 Memebers First Slate.
